Yes! We offer prints and canvases delivered to your door and we can send then to someone on your behalf as a gift. You’ll order these via your online gallery. We have our own print facilities.
- When should I book a photo session?
Typically photo sessions are booked 2-3 weeks in advance advance during the busy holiday season. Sometimes we have schedule changes and can accommodate last minute inquiries so be sure to get in touch now to discuss your options.
- How soon will I receive the digital images from my session?
An online gallery of the images will be sent within three weeks (usually earlier, depending on my number of clients) of your photo session.
- How long is a typical portrait session?
One hour. Most sessions are outdoors in the late afternoon when the lighting is warm. This helps reduce squinting.
- What should I wear to my session?
I recommend wearing plain colors without any patterns to look your best. We want your photos to stand the test of time so try to wear classic attire. Try to stick to black or navy blue! This is just a recommendation. Feel free to wear what you want.
- Can I have all the RAW (unretouched) photos from our session?
During our session, you may hear the camera click off hundreds of times. However, I only deliver final images that are representative of the quality I strive to deliver.
All images are captured in a data heavy RAW color format (digital negatives), so the image-making process is not finished, even when the shoot is over, as funny as that sounds. My job at that point is to discard the eye-blinks and my own testing shots to select the real pieces of art that all the other shots helped create. I take those shots and spend a great deal of time working with them by hand to tone the color, smooth any imperfections, and produce heirloom pieces of art that are up to my artistic standards – the same quality of work you see on my website.
I don’t release any images not included with this set of final images, because they were neither created nor intended as final products – they simply enabled me to work out issues that arose to ensure you’d get the high quality images you received.
It’s so important to me that you only receive beautifully-toned, print-ready photographs! For this reason, I never release my RAW files. Every photograph you receive is a finished product, ready for display or social media!
